    Mule drive

    Will a 129 mule drive work on a 1650?
    Thanks for any help,
    thank you.

It will.... but the deck it attaches to may not work with the QL PTO without changing a pulley. Which mule drive and which deck? Also, do you mean just the mule drive, or the whole deck subframe? There are a lot of different combinations you can use. Pictures really help if you can post them.

Short answer is yes. A mule drive for a 129 will fit a 1650. They are both wide frame Cub Cadets.

Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's obsolete!

I've got a lot of Cubs in the barn....but I have more implements/attachments!

      It's for a dozer/plow for my brother's 1650.
i have one for a narrow frame that I was going to modify,
using the 129 for fitting purposes.

Yes. The quick attach system on both the 129 and 1650 are the same. If you modify the blade to fit the 129, it will definitely fit the 1650.

You might note that the mule drive is the part with the pulleys that guide the belt to run accessories at the center or rear of the tractor.

The mule drive and plow both use the same QA - quick attach mount (129 and 1650 are the same mount), but a snow plow is not belt driven, does not require a mule drive, and cannot be mounted to the tractor with a mule drive in place.
