    Old Chevy project.

Thought I would share some pics of the new project we got in. The body is in fantastic shape from what I can see so hopefully it doesn't turn into a huge project once the body has been blasted. I've never been much for the patena look but if it were mine I would lightly scuffed it and give it a few coats of semi gloss clear but since it's not mine it going to get stripped and painted metallic dark blue.

That thing is in great condition, holy cow.
Yeah I agree Tim, it would remain as is ifin it were mine.
My father had a 59 fleetside. Rotted out on the "step up". WI is/was rough on them. Where's that one from?
They can't all be turn key.

The guy that owns it is about an hour from hear. His dad had one for his business when he was a kid so it's getting painted a similar color and the door will be hand painted lettering to look like the original one.

Damn that Apache is beautiful. I agree if it was mine it would stay just the way it is. Maybe lose the hub caps for something more appealing.

Yeah I agree maybe a nice set of baby moons, and I agree with leaving it just as is, except for the caps.

Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's obsolete!

58 or 59, that would be it.

I knew it had to be one or the other. No idea if there are any differences between the two years. Do you know if there is? Or are the two years the same?

From what I remember, there was no difference on the outside.
No difference in the cab from 1955 2nd series thru 1959. Front clip is the same for 1958 and '59. 1958 was the first year for the Fleetside bed also.

Then would that have a 235 in it?
