Here's a few pictures of deer utilizing a trail we made. This was a four acre clear cut last winter, tangled jungle.
So we put the sprayer on the ATV and kept the trail sprayed through the summer with RoundUp. Well, it worked for making the deer go where we want...

I live in the city but can bow hunt with permission from the local police department. I don't get a ton of movement on my camera but this is the best buck we have around, 7 pointer with nice spread to his rack, massive body . Caught him in the act the other day. RUT is on! Hope to arrow him in the next couple weeks.filedata/fetch?id=695&d=1541788719&type=thumbfiledata/fetch?id=694&d=1541788675&type=thumb

I was pretty excited to see it on the camera as well! Cool to hear you saw it first person once. You're in WI right, when does gun season open, its a couple weeks later than MN right? I never understood that MN's season is right during the rut. I think most other states are only open this time to bow.
Our firearms season starts next weekend. The 17th through the 25th.
The sad thing about WI firearms, is a very high percentage of bucks killed are still only 1 1/2 year olds. Just when we get a good crop of bucks, they get clobbered during the firearms season. NEVER fails...
Our other big problem is deer numbers. We have a overabundance of deer. Mainly doe. "Everyone" wants to harvest a buck, regardless of size, but no one wants to harvest doe, to help reduce the deer population.

In PA there are rules to buck hunting to keep that from happening, rack has to be a certain size to keep young bucks safe and not everybody can get a buck license.

Yeah, I wish Tim.
We let them go, so they can grow. But it bites us in the ass during the nine day, cause no one around us does.
I shouldn't say "no one", or I wouldn't have any on the wall. We go for 3 1/2 year olds or older, and as many doe as we can harvest. Our goal on our property this year is 20 doe, and so far only have two. So we have a ways to go...
