    Lawn sweeper repair.

While cleaning some leaves in the fall my sweeper decided to lock up, today I brought it in the basement to see if I could figure out the issue. Turns out the issue is the brush shaft and bushings, the shaft is worn so thin it's amazing it didn't break and the bushings are gone. I just ordered the new parts, with shipping it came to $39 so I'm pretty happy cause I was expecting it to be more. On the bright side I found out this sweeper is made by Agri fab and sold under a different name so I was able to buy the parts directly from them. Here's some pics of what I found. I really can't complain about the quality of this sweeper, it's 7yrs old and has sat out everyday since I've had it. Once I get the lean to built on the back of the shed it will have a dry place to stay.

Yup, I rebuilt this one once. It's 33 years old this spring.

I doubt this one will make it 33yrs but you never know. Once it was a dry place to live hopefully it lasts longer till the next rebuild.

I need to rebuild mine. If nothing else it needs new brushes.
What brand is it Tim? You said it was made by Agri Fab....

Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's obsolete!

I've got a lot of Cubs in the barn....but I have more implements/attachments!

The brand is precise fit, I got it from Lowe's. My local Lowe's has one on display that says Agri fab and when I looked up the model number everything took me to the Agri fab site.
