While cleaning some leaves in the fall my sweeper decided to lock up, today I brought it in the basement to see if I could figure out the issue. Turns out the issue is the brush shaft and bushings, the shaft is worn so thin it's amazing it didn't break and the bushings are gone. I just ordered the new parts, with shipping it came to $39 so I'm pretty happy cause I was expecting it to be more. On the bright side I found out this sweeper is made by Agri fab and sold under a different name so I was able to buy the parts directly from them. Here's some pics of what I found. I really can't complain about the quality of this sweeper, it's 7yrs old and has sat out everyday since I've had it. Once I get the lean to built on the back of the shed it will have a dry place to stay.
