    Tried mowing the neighbor's lawn

    Grass hasn't been mowed all year. The weeds were passed my head. Looked like haylege when I was done. Not perfect but better than it was. 1450 did pretty well. I love power steering

    Looks like the 1450 did as good as anything could have done with that mess!

        I'm sure there is more to the story why the "grass" was long. Awful hard on the deck drive belt. The 1450 chewed pretty well.

          Nah, that stuff won't hurt the belt. Tall, but not thick. Trying to mow down thick foxtail or panicum, now that's tough on a belt. Still won't break if it's a good belt though.

              As dry as it is here I'd have probably mistaken you mowing weeds that tall as the recreation of the Dust Bowl
