How do I add an avatar?

I'd like to add this as an avatar but can't seem to stumble onto the where I would add it. Also, what size do I need to make the picture?

Top Right of the page>UserName>MyProfile.... then hover over the little image and then click it. It will let you edit there. Not sure on the size but it will probably want to make it square and that pic is fairly rectangular. Cool pic!
