Good morning. I'm new here and from mid Missouri. I just got a Cub Cadet self propelled mower due to my knees going bad. I have a riding mower, but I need the exercise and enjoy being outside. My problem is, the height adjust lever is broken off. I looked it up before purchasing and it's a relatively cheap part. But, I can't figure out how to get the drive gear off to get to the lever. I know there must be a trick to it, but I can't find a way to keep it from spinning. It has a single T25 torx holding it on. The drive shaft has a sleeve on it, so I can't hold it there. Has anyone else been through this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Model number is 12A-18M7010.
