    gas solenoid

hi everyone I'm a new member here and glad I am I'm tired of paying for repairs when I could do it myself..I have a cub model # AGS 2160 that cranks but won't start and I' pretty sure its the gas solenoid so my question is where is it located and is it hard to do I'm pretty handy and not afraid to tackle the job so any advise and information would be greatly appreciated johnny

Hello Johnny and welcome to the forum!

The fuel solenoid is located in the side of the carburetor. It has a wire running to it.

Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's obsolete!

I've got a lot of Cubs in the barn....but I have more implements/attachments!
